About us
A New Orleans family that has inspected houses for termites for as long as the family can remember. The paper has changed. The habit of writing it down hasn't.
A truck, a ladder and a notebook. Every house was written down by hand: what was found, what was done, when to come back.
Eldridge Sylvain added wood-destroying insect inspections for buyers and sellers, so a house could be read in writing before a sale.
Octavia Sylvain runs the company today, with a crew of 22 in the field and the office. The notebook became a sketch and a report, sent after each inspection.
